MY HOME COUNTRY COOK ISLAND.

My home country is Cook island.It is a nice place to visit and to live.

Cook Island also has nice view and a clean beach.
The last time i visit Cook island was in 2008 but i can't wait till 2011 because i'm going back for another visit.
I LOVE MY COUNTRY!!

JESSE MARTIN QUIZ

Room 19 are learning about Mighty teen mariners. We were ask to do a multiple inteligence task. . We decided to do quiz cards about Jesse Martin. our time limit was 1 hour and 50 minutes. IMMERSION ASSEMBLY.

For those of you who don’t know what Immersion Assembly are liked well this is the time to read more about it and find out. At the beginning of each term at Pt England School, the teachers and staff members dress up to give us a hint of what our theme for the term will be about.

The first Immersion Assembly i can remember is Up,Up and away. We learnt all the things that go up into the sky like an hot air balloon and planes.

Food Glorious Food was my favourite Immersion Assembly because in assembly who ever was sitting up straight they got a chicken wing or a sausage. For that whole term we got to cook food.

This term we are learning about Might Mariners. At Immersion Assembly the best teacher was Ms Tito. She did everything by herself and she also dressed up as Jessica Watson.

I think Pt England is the best school in the whole world. No schools in Auckland can beat Pt England IMMERSION ASSEMBLIES.

Cook Island Tri Nation

For those who dosen't no what Tri Nation is, well this is the time to read my story.
Every second year cook island people have Tri Nation . Any cook island people is allowed to join.There are three country,and they New Zealand,Rarotonga and also Australia.In the Tri Nation we play sport like socoer,rugby, dart,table tennis,netball,volleyball,cricket,gofl,oea vaka and also to end our Tri nation we have to do a cook island show.This year the Tri Nation is coming to New Zealand. NZ is going taking it out.Go NZ.

In the holiday our Cook Island dance group called the Matoo'i which is a flower had a concert night held at the Atiu hall in Mangere. We woke up early and had breakfast. After breakfast we all had to go out side for practice so we can be a professional dance group. There where about 16 dancers and about 5 drummer's.Our concert started at 7.00 but the time was only 6.30 that mean it was time to go the hall. Once everybody got to the hall we got change in to our costume ready to dance. My family arrived at the hall at 6.50 which mean that they made it in time. Yah! it 7.00 it was time to start. we had like about 21 show to do in front of our family. While i was dancing some of mylfami came to give me some money. I did a lots of cook island dance. Our show had finish and I ended our show with a smile on my face whice made my whanau happy. Everyone had lift to go home. My family and I went to Mc Donald and they were really happy about me. I LOVE MY FAMILY

favourite NRL team.

This year my favourite NRL team is DRAGON.I am very proud of Dragon because they are on top of the list.I have been supporting the Dragon team for nearly a year now.I hope the Dragons win the NRL this year.GO DRAGONS.

Our DLO assessment for Term One

Last term we were asked to make movies showing our understanding of some of the korero that helps our students remember the 'Pt England Way'.  We worked in groups  of 5 or 6 and were assessed on  a number of things.
